Kocher Named Wells Scholar

Alyssa Kocher has been named the Wells Family Scholar for 2021. The Magnolia High School Senior plans to study nursing at West Virginia University. She received the scholarship award MHS on Class Day. During her high school career, she was a member of the MHS Band Color Guard, ran track and field, was a cheerleader and played on the varsity volleyball team. She volunteered in Helping Hand, volunteered at Immanuel Baptist Church, was a volunteer bell ringer for the Salvation Army and also a teacher in the MHS Volleyball Clinic.
