Magnolia Girls get Big win over Cameron

The Blue Eagles took their game to Cameron on Friday night and made short work of the Dragons with a five inning 14-0 whitewashing of the home team.

Karisa Postlethwait earned the vistory from the mound striking out 11 batters over five innings while walking only one. Postlethwait slapped out two singles to help her own cause, while Haiden Bland and Emma Steele each added two hits. Delaney drilled a double for the Blue Eagles as well.

The Blue had a total of 12 hits to two for the Dragons. Neither team committed an error.

Blue Eagles fly by Lumberjills 15-2

Vistinig Magnolia made short work of the Valley high school Lumberjills on Tuesday night in Pine Grove, behind a big night at the plate for the Blue Eagles.

The visitors were led by Emma Steele who hammered out four hits in four at bats, while Haiden Bland cracked a hard line drive triple and added two singles for the Blue Eagles. Sydney Scott and Shy White also contributed big with three singles on the nights.

Valley struggled at the plate against the Blue Eagle pitching who managed to set down 11 Lumberjill batters and allow only four hits while walking two. Magnolia ended with 18 hits on the night. Valley had six errors while the Blue Eagles only committed two.
