Raymond Lee Young

Raymond Lee Young, age 79, of New Martinsville, WV, passed away Friday, September 13, 2024, at New Martinsville Health & Rehab. Center.

He was born November 29, 1944, in Wetzel County, WV, a son of the late Emery Raymond and Imogene Mae Davis Young

He was a retired employee of the former Ormet Corp. in Hannibal, OH; and he liked to farm.

Survivors include three sons, Stevie (Faye) Young, Alex (Haley) Anderson, and Andrew (Allison) Anderson, all of New Martinsville, WV; a daughter, Melissa (David) McEldowney of New Martinsville, WV; 4 siblings, Linda Sidenstricker of Sardis, OH, Betty Young and Roger Young, both of New Martinsville, WV, and Emma Heckart of Shawnee, KS; and 8 grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 11:00 am in Northview Cemetery New Martinsville, WV, with Rev. Don Rush officiating.
