Doris Jean Mott

Doris Jean Mott, 87, of Pine Grove, WV took the next step on her journey on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 while at Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Glen Dale, WV.

Doris was born August 29, 1937, in Mt. Pleasant, MI daughter of the late John W. and Permelia (Bucher) Fluharty.

She was a homemaker, previously worked at Simon’s Market and member of First Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, John R. Mott, Jr. and brother, John M. Fluharty.

Surviving is her husband of sixty-four years, “Jack” John R. Mott; three children, Cheri (Michael) Stutler of Charlestown, WV, Truman “Mike” (Shana) Mott of Hedgesville, WV and Robert Mott of Pine Grove, WV; three grandchildren, Joshua Michael Mott, Garth Joe Mott and Alexix G. Mott and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received 4-7 p.m., Friday, September 13, 2024 at the Williams Funeral Home, 12750 Shortline Hwy, Pine Grove. Burial to be in the Milburn Cemetery and at the convenience of the family.
