Let’s Shop
Everyone loves the availability of convenience, especially now in a world turned upside down by a virus that has caused a whirlwind of uncertainties for many. Cassie Billiter recently crossed her T’s and dotted her I’s to begin a new business in town called Let’s Shop. Billiter has been working on this for some time and finally completed all the necessary paper work on January 6, 2022 to become your own personal shopper. There are Uber services, Walmart grocery pick up, pizza delivery and now a new personal shopper in town. “I have been working through Instacart being a personal shopper for customers in the St. Clairsville, Marietta, and Parkersburg areas for the past two years. The entire time I thought that these same services should be offered locally. Time is a resource; once it’s spent we can’t get it back, and how much I would love for our community to be able to use their time towards something other than shopping and waiting in long lines or driving to pick up their orders,” Billiter said.
Let’s Shop can deliver from any local business to your home, workplace, or even to someone else of your choosing. Billiter can serve as your very own personal shopper for groceries, household needs as well as fast food. It doesn’t matter the type of shopping you need; deliveries can be made from Walmart, Family Dollar, Tractor Supply, or even Choo- Choo’s restaurant. Even car part deliveries can be fulfilled, “as long as they will fit in my car,” stated Billiter. The only items “Let’s Shop” will not include for purchase are items requiring an ID for acquisition, which includes alcohol and tobacco products. Let’s Shop is located in Paden City, so while the business gets on its feet, they will be delivering inside the city limits of New Martinsville, Paden City, Sistersville, Middlebourne and Hannibal.
Now that Billiter offers a local delivery service, you won’t have to deal with driving to the store, locating items, standing in long check out lines, or over-spending and purchasing items you don’t have on your list. Once you place your order, it should arrive without a long wait directly to you. You don’t even have to get dressed; you can stay in your pajamas while someone else does the work for you.
The only requirement for Let’s Shop services is to download the “Dumpling” app and add Cassie Billiter as your personal shopper or message her your cell phone number and she will send you an invitation. You can also contact her at (740)-760-1106. Feel free to leave a message or send a text. She is a busy shopper and will get back to you as quickly as possible.
Let’s Shop is available daily from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with the exception of Thursdays and Sundays, in which the hours are 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The fees associated for shopping are very reasonable for such a beneficial service. Basic delivery fees include New Martinsville $4.50, Hannibal and Paden City $5.50, Sistersville $6.50, and Middlebourne $7.00 plus a 10-12% shoppers fee of your receipts total and a 5% processing fee. For example, for shopping and delivery in the Hannibal area and the total at the register was $100.00, the 12% shoppers fee would be $12.00 plus a delivery charge of $4.50. Lastly, with the 5% processing fee, the total would be $121.50. A fee of only $21.50 pays for the convenience of staying home and having your needs delivered right to your door step.
