Cramer Hears Multiple Cases in Wetzel County
Robin L. Cook age 38, of 50120 St. Rt. 7 Apartment #9 New Matamoras, Ohio appeared in person alongside her Attorney Ferro and Assistant Prosecutor Justin Craft appearing on behalf of the state. Her hearing was continued until February 9,2022, where at which time a plea agreement will be entered.
Daniel P. Snyder age 48, of 246 Barnes Run Rd. Sardis, Ohio appeared in person with counsel Williams for a status hearing on the alleged charge of Driving Under the Influence third and subsequent offense. Snyder’s bond continues and he is scheduled to return on March 9,2022.
Charles Z. Wells age 31 of 5885 American Ridge Rd. New Martinsville, WVa. Appeared with his counsel Mr. Mendelson on a status hearing on charges of two felony counts of Delivery of a controlled substance methamphetamine and delivery of a controlled narcotic substance fentanyl. Both crimes are alleged to have occurred in Wetzel County. Wells was remanded back to NRJ where he is to return on March 2, 2022 for a trial date to be set.
Clark Floyd III age 28, of 503 Fallen Timber Rd. Smithfield, WVa. Was scheduled to appear for an initial appearance and status hearing for 17 count indictment alleged to have occurred on or about October 3,2021. Floyd’s attorney Mr. Mendelson appeared as well as Assistant Prosecutor Justin Craft on behalf of the state. Floyd failed to appear and Judge Cramer issued a Capital for Failure to Appear. Cramer will schedule a return court date for Floyd once he is apprehended.
Robert Roe II age 25, of 17737 Mountaineer Highway Littleton, WVa . Appeared I. Person with his attorney Mr. Mallett. Justin Craft assistant prosecuting attorney appeared on behalf of the state. Roe entered a not guilty plea to the 17 count indictment alleged to have occurred on or about October 3, 2021. Judge Cranmer set a $40,000 bond and remanded Roe back to NRJ. Roe is scheduled to return March 9,2022 for a status hearing.
Steven Wolford age 24, of 397 Jamison Ave. Cadiz, Ohio appeared in person alongside his counsel Mr. Ferro on a status hearing. Wolford is charged with soliciting a minor via computer. Judge Cramer ordered Wolford be remanded back to jail and to return on March 9, 2022 for a status hearing to set a trial date on the case.
Devin Slade Ash age 23, of 603 Abbie Drive New Martinsville along with his attorney Mr. Ferro appeared for an initial appearance and plead not guilty to a three count indictment. Count one Possession of a Controlled Narcotic Substance with intent to deliver( heroin), count two Possession with intent to deliver (fentanyl) and count three fleeing on foot from an officer. Ash was remanded back to jail and is set to return to the courts on March 9, 2022.
Harold V. Jones age 43, of 360 Virginia Street, New Martinsville, WVa. made an initial appearance in court along side his counsel Mr. Mendelson. Justin Craft appeared on behalf of the state. Jones entered a not guilty plea to a ten count indictment brought against him by the state. It’s alleged on or about June 22, 2020 and February 2, 2021 Jones committed the felony offenses of Count one Sexual Assault in Second Degree, count two Sexual abuse by a person in a position of trust to a child, count three Sexual abuse in the first degree, count four Sexual Abuse by a person in a position of trust to a child, count five Sexual abuse in the first degree, count six Sexual abuse by a person in a position of trust to a child, count seven Sexual abuse in the first degree, count eight sexual abuse by a person of trust to a child, count nine Sexual abuse in first degree, and count ten Sexual abuse by a person of trust to a child. Judge Cramer set a $30,000 property bond to be secured by Friday January 28,2022. Judge Cramer also appointed Attorney Kerlac as the Guardian at Litem for the juvenile in the case. Jones is set to return March 9, 2022..
Edward E. Streets age 51 of 4890 Veterans Highway, New Martinsville, WVa. appeared in person with out counsel for an initial appearance to address the three count indictment of Failure to Update Sex Offender Registry Information. Judge Cramer appointed Mr. Ferro to represent Streets. The case was continued and scheduled to return on February 9th at 9:30 so Mr. Ferro can have time to go over the indictments with his client.
Erutan Lee Young age 23 of 2205 Trone Ave. Dayton Ohio appeared in person along side Public defender Mr. Williams. Young faces one count Delivery of a controlled substance- Methamphetamine, one count Possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver- Methamphetamine, two counts Conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance- Methamphetamine, an two counts Transportation of controlled substance into state all alleged to have occurred on or about October 25, 2021. Young entered a not guilty plea to the 6 count indictment and Judge Cramer ruled the $40,000 bond remains and Young was remanded back to jail and is scheduled to return for a status hearing on March 9,2022
Angela Kristy Higginbotham Blaniar age 39, of 909 Clark Street, Shinnston, WVa appeared in person with her counsel Mr. Ferro. Justin Craft was present on behalf of the state. Blainer admitted to violating her extended supervised release and was remanded back to jail. She is scheduled to return on February 9, 2022 for a disposition hearing.
