Judge Cramer Hold Court in Wetzel County

Brandy Ann Hadley, of 341 Virginia Street, New Martinsville, WV, was charged by the Grand Jury in a three count felony indictment with Delivery of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine), Delivery of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), and Delivery of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). On Monday April 27, she appeared in court alongside her attorney Scott Brown for a scheduled sentencing hearing. Judge Cramer sentenced her to 1-15 years in prison, however the sentence was suspended and she was placed on three years of probation and ordered to pay $650 restitution to the drug task force.

Cierra Elizabeth Adams, of 432 ½ Maple Ave. New Martinsville, WV, appeared in court on Monday April 27, alongside her attorney John Jurco for a scheduled status hearing. She was charged by the Grand Jury in a four count felony indictment of two counts of Child Neglect Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury and two counts of Gross Child Neglect Creating Risk of Death or Serious Bodily Injury. On Monday she entered a guilty plea to a reduced charge of misdemeanor offense of child neglect with the risk of bodily injury. She was sentenced to six months on count three and six months on county four, with both being suspended. The remaining count was dismissed. She was then placed on one year of probation. The State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Justin Craft.

Winston James Kristopher Rice, of 769 Market Street, Clarington, Ohio, was charged by the January 2023 term of the Grand Jury in a two count felony indictment of delivery of a controlled narcotic substance (Fentanyl) and conspiracy to deliver a controlled narcotic substance (Fentanyl). Both crimes are alleged to have occurred on or about February 22, 2022, in Wetzel County. He appeared in court before Judge Jeffery D. Cramer on Monday April 27, in Wetzel County for a scheduled revocation hearing. Rice was represented by David White and the State was represented by Prosecutor Tim Haught. At Monday’s hearing it was announced that M. Saurbier was being hired as his attorney. His case was rescheduled for May 13, 2026, for a status hearing.

Cane Andrew Hartwick, 32, of 328 Foundry Street, New Martinsville, WV., is charged by the Wetzel County Grand Jury in a 14-count felony indictment all alleged to have occurred between May 1, 2023, and September 10, 2023, in Wetzel County, involving sexual offenses and human trafficking of a minor child. He appeared in court on Monday April 27, for a scheduled arraignment hearing. It was announced an attorney will be appointed to represent him at a later hearing. The State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Justin Craft.

Michael Tyrone Blare, 43, was sentenced to two consecutive prison terms of 1-15 years, aka 2-30 years in prison, for violating his probation back in May 2024. He originally pleaded guilty to DUI while license revoked, third offense, and was ordered to a year of home confinement and six months of supervised probation after that. He appeared in court on Monday April 27, 2026, for a hearing to revoke probation. On Monday he pleaded guilty and Judge Cramer ordered a pre sentencing report from the probation office. Blare will return to court on May 18.
