Kameron McGee appeared in court on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, alongside her attorney Scott Brown for a scheduled bond reduction hearing. The State was represented by Wetzel County Assistant Prosecutor Justin Craft. On Tuesday bond was modified from $6,000 to $10,000 cash only. McGee is charged in Wetzel County with destruction of property and fleeing. He was ordered to return to court on January 30, 2026 for formal arrangement.
Cory Vasquez appeared in court on Tuesday, January 20, alongside attorney Scott Brown for a scheduled bond reduction hearing. The State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Justin Craft On Tuesday, Vasquez’s bond was modified to $50,000. Vasquez is charged in Wetzel County with felony fraudulent schemes. Wetzel County is waiting for a federal indictment to come down. If no indictment from the federal government, Wetzel County will be indicted in the May term of the Grand Jury.
Nicole L. Spencer, 21, appeared in court on Tuesday, January 20, alongside his attorney Andy Mendelson for a scheduled plea agreement hearing. The State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Justin Craft. Spencer is charged in Wetzel County with drug related crimes. On Tuesday, she entered a plea agreement to the felony offense of possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine. She was sentenced to not less than one nor more than 15 years in prison to run concurrent to a sentence in Marshall County. She also must forfeit any money involved.
Myron William Schwaben, appeared in court before Judge Wilson for scheduled hearing on Wednesday, January 21, in Wetzel County Court. Schwaben, is charged by the September, 2025 term of the Grand Jury with possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine with intent to deliver. On Tuesday it was revealed he had filed an ethics complaint against his attorney. Judge Wilson released his attorney and told Schwaben he needed to find a new lawyer. The hearing will be rescheduled for a later date.
Derrick Franklin Webster, 38, appeared in court on Wednesday alongside his attorney Andy Mendelson for a scheduled plea hearing. On Wednesday he pleaded guilty to violating his probation, possession of a controlled substance, and violating laws of the state and county. He was sentenced to 1-5 years in prison on each count to run consecutively.
Keith William Kline, 34, of the Regional jail appeared in court on Wednesday, January 21, alongside his attorney Scott Brown for a scheduled sentencing hearing. The State was represented by Prosecutor Timothy Haught. Kline was indicted by the September 2025 Grand Jury in a two count felony indictment alleging Gross child neglect creating risk of death or serious bodily injury. At Wednesday’s hearing he entered a plea agreement to child abuse and neglect. The state recommended 1-5 years in prison and 15 years of supervised probation. A sentencing hearing will be held on March 18, at 10:00 am in the Magistrate building
Alison Marie Staley, of New Martinsville, appeared in court on Wednesday January 21, alongside her attorney Andy Mendelson for a scheduled sentencing hearing. The State was represented by Prosecutor Timothy Haught. Staley was indicted by the September 2025, Grand Jury in a two count felony indictment alleging Gross child neglect creating risk of death or serious bodily injury.
On Wednesday she was sentenced through a plea agreement to 1-5 years suspended and three years of supervised probation. She must register as a child abuser with the State Police for 10 years.
