A Paden City, WVa., was arrested and charged by the Ohio, Monroe County Sheriffás department with shooting a Cameron, Ohio man in the face. According to a statement from the Monroe County Sheriff Charles Black, Makiah Anderson, age 29, is being held in the Monroe County jail on the following charges. Attempted Murder, Felonious Assault, Obstructing Justice, Illegal Conveyance in a Jail and Possession of Drug abuse instruments.

Black said Monroe County 911 received a call from a male in Cameron who advised that his neighbor had been shot in the face, and the suspect fled the scene. Monroe County Road units along with the Detective unit arrived on the scene and provided first aid until a squad arrived on scene. During this time, Monroe County Sheriffás Office deployed a drone and located the suspect hiding behind a building next to debris and made the arrest.
