Hornets Host Bike/Car Show, Oct. 30

The 1991 Peterbilt and 2002 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic will be shown Saturday by Israel VanScyoc of BackWoods Ent., LLC. Tim Gamble of Pentress, W.Va., will be showing his 1990 customized Chevrolet truck.

A benefit Bike/Car Show will be held on Saturday, Oct. 30, to benefit the Hundred Hornet football team.

Plaques will be awarded to custom/stock bikes and cars. A $10 entry fee will be charged with the first 50 entries receiving a free shirt.

Concessions, 50/50 drawings and door prizes will be available. The event will be held across the street from the high school. Registration will be from 11 a.m. to noon, the show will be held from noon to 3 p.m. and awards will be given at 3 p.m.
