The Wheeling Raiders AAU Boys’ Basketball Team, a National Division 1 participant, will be holding tryouts for their 14U Boys Team the week of Feb. 15.To be eligible, a player must reside in West Virginia and have a birth date on or after Sept. 1, 1995. The annual Charlie Morris Basketball Tournament will be held Feb. 26Mar. 2 at New Martinsville School. The entry fee is $75 for each team and is open to 4th, 5th and 6th grades. For more information call Bill Starkey at 304-455-2417.
The ninth annual Battle Against Cystic Fibrosis All-Star Basketball Classic will be Friday night, April 2, at Parkersburg South High School. The game pits high school seniors from Ohio and West Virginia in both girls and boys all-star basketball games.
The girls’ game will start at 5:30 p.m. with the boys game following at approximately 7:30 p.m.
The River Girls Basketball Team will host a Grasshopper Basketball Tournament for Boys and Girls’ third grades to sixth. The girls tournament will run from Feb. 27 through March 4, while the boys tournament runs from March 6-13.

The Fur Fin and Feather Club will be holding their indoor bow shoots every Sunday at 6 p.m. during the months of January and February.
