Seeking Applications

Sports For Youth Foundation is currently accepting player applications from Canadian and American boys and girls, age 15 – 20, who are accomplished high school or club volleyball players. Applicants also should be good citizens in their school and community.

The 2010 Goodwill Ambassadors Volleyball Exchange promotes international friendships and peace through sport. The year 2010 marks the 30th year that the Goodwill Ambassadors have conducted sports tours promoting world peace. This year it is offering two tours. One tour will travel to London and Paris, the other will travel to Italy, visiting in Venice, Florence, and Rome.

Softball Camp Offered

The Wheeling Jesuit University Softball Team and coaching staff will be hosting winter softball camps for athletes in grades six through 12. The camps will include instruction for pitchers, catchers, hitting, and defense. Cost is based upon the number of sessions attended. Dates are Sunday, Jan. 24, and Sunday, Jan. 31, from 11 a.m. -4 p.m.
