MHS Reserve Seats Still Available

There are still reserved seats available for Magnolia varsity home football games at $12 each for the remainder of the season. Anyone interested in reserve seating may call Claire Blatt at 455-3348.

MHS Football Tickets For Williamstown Game On Sale

Advanced tickets will be available at a reduced rate for the Magnolia-Williamstown football matchup Sept. 4. Advance prices for adults tickets is $5 and $4 for students and senior citizens. All tickets at the gate will be $6. Tickets at MHS will be available only on Thursday, Sept. 3 from 8 a.m.-3 p.m.; and on Friday, Sept. 4, from 9-11 a.m. No tickets will be sold after 11 a.m. Friday.

Junior Bowling League Sign-ups

The New Martinsville Junior Bowling Association will be holding its Award Party Saturday, Sept. 5 at 10 a.m. at Bruce Bowling Lanes.

In addition to the party a free Junior Glow in the Dark Bowling sign-up for the fall program will be held until 11:30 a.m. The program, sponsored by the local McDonald’s and sanctioned by the USBC, features leagues in three different age classes: Bumpers, 4-8 years; Preps, 9-13 years; and Juniors, 14-18 years.

The fall program will start Saturday Sept. 12 and run for 12 weeks. For more information call Bruce Lanes at 304-455-1551.

NM Baseball League Hold Election

The New Martinsville Jr. Baseball and Softball will be holding election of officers on Tuesday, Sept. 23 at 7 p.m. at the New Martinsville City Building. For any further information, contact Ron Nice at 455-0878.
