The St. Marys Summer Basketball League is now accepting registrations for boys who will be entering the sixth, seventh, and eighth grades. The entry fee is $30 per player. To reserve a spot in the league, send a check or money order to Mike Bennett, 3082 Pike Road, St. Marys, W. Va. 26170. Please include the player’s rising grade and their tank top shirt size.

The league started June 7 and ended July 18 last season. The same time frame is being planned for this year.

Fifty-eight boys and girls participated in the league last year and they hailed from all over the mid-Ohio valley.

Baseball players are welcomed, too. In the first month the league will play one game a week and, in July, two games will be played a week.

The purpose of the league is for the players to improve their skills, meet new friends, and have fun.
