The Lady Blue Eagles dropped an 8-3 decision to the visiting Cameron Dragons on Wednesday evening April 22, at Hydro Field in New Martinsville. The Dragons scored two runs in the top of the first and upped the lead to 8-0 in the top of the fifth inning. The Eagles plated one run in the bottom of the fifth and two runs in bottom of the seventh. The Eagles dropped to (7-10) on the season.

Magnolia collected three runs, 10 hits, three walks, and had 11 batters strikeout. Bella Sockman went 3-4 scoring one run, SydneyKnight going 2-3, scoring one run and an RBI. Audri Quinn was 2-4 with an RBI. Jessa Anderson went 1-3 scoring a run, and Gabby Hudson was 2-4 for the Lady Eagles. Aerie Varner went the distance on the mound suffering the loss giving up eight runs, eight hits, five walks, five strikeouts, and threw 111 pitches.

Cameron got a big game from Kendra Thomas going 3-3, scoring three runs, and driving in four runs in the victory. Lexi Bogard was the winning pitcher for the now (7-10) Dragons.
