Magnolia Lady Blue Eagles traveled up to Bridgeport on Saturday morning April 18, and lost to the Bulldogs 3-0. Hanna Brewer pitched a solid game for the hosts striking out 17 Blue Eagles and surrendering only three hits, while walking one batter. Bridgeport improved to (7-8) on their season.

Magnolia, who fell to (7-8) on the season, got a lead-off double by Jessa Anderson but she was left stranded at third base. Anderson went 1-2 with the double and three stolen bases, Bella Sockman and Aubrey Suter added a hit apiece for the Blue Eagles.

Aerie Varner suffered the loss on the mound striking out five hitters, with no walks, while giving up eight hits, and three runs.

Hanna Brewer led the offensive attack for the Bulldogs going 2-3 with an RBI and Katie Jackson was 2-2 scoring a run.
