Long Lead Pilots To a 81-65 Win over Bulldogs In Home Opener

The River Pilots scored 50-points in the opening half and went on to defeat the Bridgeport Bulldogs, 81-65 Dec. 15 in their home-opener inside RL Potts Gymnasium.
Pilot sophomore Ty Long scored a game-high 26-points, including one basket from beyond the arc. He also hit on 9-12 from the free throw line to lead the Fast and Furious River Pilots.
Meanwhile, the Pilots freshman sharp-shooter Kabel Isaly dropped in 17-points, including a trio of three-pointers, while sophomore point guard Brody Lolathin netted a dozen markers, including pulling down 8-rebounds.
In addition, junior Austin Creamer supplied 9-points, including a long 3-ball, while senior Conner Hunter provided 6-points.
Junior Brody Longwell tallied 6-points, while junior Kam Potts and River Thompson each recorded a deuce.
For the Bridgeport Bulldogs, Reese O’ Kernick led the way with 20-points.
