Logan Norris

With the football season underway, we had several athletes come to the top, with the Hundred Hornets birthday boy quarterback Logan Norris and the Lumberjacks Gavin Streets getting the nod over a few others.

Norris passed for 92-yards and a touchdown, while his Houdini-like runs helped him gain 132-yards rushing and 2-TDs in a hard-fought 28-20 loss to the Federal Hocking Lancers.

Streets picked up where he left off last season, gained 149-yards rushing, while adding 69-yards receiving and a touchdown for 218-yards.

Others who had good outings were, Hundreds Skylar Shuman who had 2-interceptions, as well as Davis Derby who had 13-tacks, with 8-solo tackles and two QB sacks. Also the Hornets first-year wide receiver Cody Soles had 4-catches for 61-yards and a touchdown, while rushing for 105-yards and 2-TDs, He also took one to the house on an electrifying 71-yard kick-off return for a touchdown.

The Valley Lumberjacks Abe Satterfield also had a great game against a very good Tygarts Valley squad that scored 52-points. Abe rushed for 26-yards and a pair of touchdown, while passing for 140-yards and another TD.
