Spotlight: Logan Norris
Hundred Hornet Logan Norris is an all-around athlete, and he can dominate if he chooses or the coaches let him. He was sidelined before the football season got underway and couldn’t play because he had his shoulder separated the weekend before the first game of the 2018 football season.
But, that didn’t stop him from coming to every practice and every game and still knowing his junior football season was washed away.
He worked with the new quarterback Andrew Zedell from day-1 and continued to become one of the best players on the field almost every game.
When the football season was done, he got with his basketball teammates and played inspired ball. He wasn’t the focal player, but he sure had a lot to do with others getting the spot-light, that is who he is.
When, the key players were on the bench because of foul trouble, he had to step up his game, and for the most part he did. He has a little trouble into being the main guy, but when he sets himself in doing whatever it takes to get the best performance that he and his fellow teammates can handle.
In baseball, he did everything, but pop the popcorn. He played second and shortstop as well as pitch and was a consistent hitter or getting on base anyway he could nia a walk, HBP or move runners into scoring position for others to bring them in. That is what he is, and will be and that is the things that can help the team succeed. If he needs to be the MAN, he can, he will and does.
We asked him a few questions about himself and what makes him tick and here is some of the questions and answers he gave.
