Henderson Signs With Waynesburg
Hundred graduate Katherine Henderson is pictured with her mother Linda and father Howard as she signs her letter of intent to further her academic and athletic career at Waynesburg College in becoming a Marine Biologist and run track.
This 3.9 honor student has many awards during her 4-year career at Hundred most resent was placing second in the high-jump where she has been a state qualifier all four years. She led the Hundred girls team to a Mason-Dixon Conference title this year and was the top female point getter at the Rush Invitational winning the high jump and long jump, as well as placing second in the 100 meter dash and fourth in the 200 meter dash. She also qualified for state in the 4×200 meter relay in 2016.
She also placed first in the high jump and 100 meter dash, as well as placing second in the long jump and fifth place in the 200 meter dash in the Mason Dixon Championship.
In the OVAC Meet, she placed second in the A/AA long jump and high jump, respectively as well as second overall in the high jump.
She also competed in Basketball and Volleyball, and was honored to play in both sports in the OVAC All Star Games this year, as well as being a Hornet cheerleader.
