The Wetzel Chronicle’s “Athlete of the Month” title for January goes to the Hundred Hornets’ 6-5 senior center Travis McCoy, who had a great month.

He compiled 176 points, pulled down 133 rebounds, and swatted away double-digit blocks in eight games played during the month of January. Out of the seven games played he had six double-doubles and helped the Hornets win six games.

With these stats, McCoy is a clear winner of the paper’s second Player of the Month title.
