Beallsville Achieves Victory Over Hundred, 46-36

By Staff | Jan 31, 2018

Beallsville out-scored Hundred 28-16 in two middle periods to beat the homestanding Hundred Hornets, 46-36, in boys high school basketball action Jan. 26.

Hundred led 11-10 after one, and 9-8 in the fourth period, but the absence of the Hornets’ Travis McCoy, out due to a high temperature, didn’t help the Hornets’ chances against a taller squad.

Soles had a good game, scoring 10 points and hauling in just as many rebounds, while freshman Skylar Goff scored a team-high 13 points, including a basket from beyond the arch.

Logan Norris followed with seven markers, while Billy Lemasters netted a deuce and a three-ball. Elijah Geho ended the scoring with a made free throw.
