Stillwagoner, Streets Are Athletes Of The Week
This week’s Athletes of the Week are the Blue Eagles’ James Stillwagoner and the Lumberjacks’ Levi Streets.
The ‘Jacks Levi Streets had an impressive night in a H.I.T. fame with Buffalo. He scored a game-high 32 points, that included six bonus bombs. He also collected six steals and grabbed just as many rebounds.
Streets also scored a game-high 26 points in a double-overtime loss to Clay-Battelle, with 14 coming in overtime, that included three long range bonus bombs. He also added 10 rebounds, seven assists and two steals to pace the Lumberjacks, earning him Athlete of the Week.
Also earning Athlete of the Week is Magnolia wrestler James Stillwagoner. He won four matches and lost three in the OVAC Wrestling Tournament, placing sixth in a very tough 182 pound weight class. Stillwagoner has also earned Athlete of the Week.
During the winter season, only high schools teams from Hundred, Magnolia, Paden City, River and Valley are eligible to be named Athlete of the Week, and the winners can’t win again until sectionals, as well as OVAC and Mason-Dixon, and H.I.T. Tournament.
