Henderson Shines Bright in Monstrous Sets
The Hundred Hornets’ Katherine Henderson had a monstrous match in a four-set loss to Valley. She had her first triple-double, scoring a career-high 24-points that included 10 aces, while posting 21 digs, six blocked shots and made two kills.
The Lumberjills won the first two sets, 25-17 and 25-16 before the Lady Hornets won the third set, 20-25, and the ‘Jills won the fourth set, 25-22 to win the match last week.
Five Lady Hornets scored in double-figures, with Henderson leading the way with 24, while Kayla Matthews followed with 14 points and four digs. Lexi Bragg finished with 13 points and four aces, while bumping up 19 digs and making a block and an assist. Savannah Horner contributed 12 points, two aces, seven digs, and made three blocks, while Emily Metz tallied 11 points, eight digs, two assists and made one kill.
In addition, Madison Fetty compiled six points, three digs, two assists and one block, while Savannah Bragg finished the Hornets statistics with three blocks and made two kills.
