Valley Lumberjills Lose Two Matches

The Valley Lumberjills lost a pair of volleyball matches to Beallsville and Clay-Battelle last week.

Megan Brown was a bright spot scoring 16 service points, while making 72 sets, and made seven digs, while Hannah Brown followed with 13 points in the pair of matches. Jenna Dallison made 15 spikes and blocked six shots, and score 12 points.

In addition, Caitlyn Underwood had a pair of solid matches. She scored 11 points, made 13 spikes, 11 digs, 17 dinks and had eight blocks. Sydney Bucher followed with 11 points and 12 spikes. Elizabeth Brown tallied nine points, and made 13 digs and 12 dinks, while Christine Williams posted two points and four digs.

Valley will try to get back to their winning ways when they visit Frontier Sept. 13 at 6 p.m.
