The Beallsville Blue Devils were to much to handle as they pounded the Hornets into submission, 51-0,Sept. 8 in Blue Devil territory.

On the first offensive play of the game, the Blue Devil’s defense stood up the Hornets’ ball carrier and stripped him of the ball, and took over at the Hornets 34 yard line. On their first offensive play, the Devils raced 27-yards for a first down, and on the second play, they waltzed into the Promised Land. The two-point conversion attempt was no good and Beallsville raced out to a 6-0 lead with 11:25 showing on the Blue Devils’ awesome-looking scoreboard.

The new scoreboard saw plenty of action as the Blue Devils went on to score six more touchdowns.

There were not very many good stats for the Hornets, besides a pair of fumble recoveries by Logan Norris and positive yardage by Skylar Golf, as well as Brandon Rine’s four solo tackles.

The Hornets will take their 41-game losing streak to Clay-Battelle Saturday afternoon when they host Hannan at 2 p.m.
