MHS Tennis Coach Jesse Robinson and some of her returnees sponsored a Tennis Camp at the newly remodeled Bruce Park Tennis Court, on June 29-30.

The campers received a one-on-one with the present MHS letter-winners and Coach Robinson in all the aspects of tennis. From warming up, to holding a tennis racket, getting in position to striking the ball, and everything else pertinent to the sport of tennis – the camp covered it.

The two-day three hour camp was spot on to give the young campers the knowledge of a sport that is on the up-scale swing at Magnolia.

The Camp would have not been able to take place if it wasn’t for the New Martinsville Parks and Recreation, Wetzel County School Board of Education, and sponsors, Court Restaurant, Lisa Shepard State Farm Agency, Dr. Neil Marshall, Citywide Insurance and Real Estate, DeMarco Construction, Union Bank and Ace Home Center.
