Paden City’s alumni festivities, held this past weekend, featured the annual basketball and volleyball games.

In the basketball game, the younger guys – also known as the future stars – whipped up on the veteran old timers, 116-75, in a revenge win from the past few years. The game took place at the high school gym at 6 p.m. in Paden City and featured former stars such as Mitch Koerber, Mark Jackson, Michael King, Kennedy Cain, Zach Heasley, Luke Cooper, Aaron Heasley, Brad Billeter and many more.

These games are a big part of the Wildcats Alumni events and have become a fan favorite on Alumni Weekend.

The Volleyball game wasn’t any less competitive. And without keeping school, it was still plenty of fun as the veterans tried to keep pace with the newest alumni. The teams were divided up evenly between young and old. but without keeping score in was no less a lot of fun as the veterans tried to keep the pace with the newest Alumni.

I (Ed Parsons) know many won’t like that last word but by the looks of things time does catch up. A lot of fun was had by all.
