Jordan Delaney Chooses WJU

Jordan Delaney, a senior at MHS, is heading to Wheeling Jesuit to run cross country and track for the Cardinals. She has participated in track for three years, and cross country for two years.

Delaney helped her 2016 team win the WVSSAC Class A Girls Track Team title, finishing in first place, while winning back-to-back state titles in 1,600 meter run, with a personal best of 5:22. She is also the 3,200 meter state champion, with her personal record of 11:43. She will look to break the school record in both these events and is within seconds of reaching her goal.

Delaney is a member of the National Honor Society, MU Alpha Theta, Relay For Life, Science National Honor Society and Young Life.

She is planing to major in nursing and is looking forward into competing in track and cross country at Wheeling Jesuit University.
