Four-year Paden City track standout Jacob Pierce will be taking his academic and athletic talents to West Liberty University next fall.

He, along with three other Paden City grads, have selected West Liberty to further their track talents in the past two seasons.

Pierce is a four-year Mason Dixon champion, and a three year OVAC and state qualifier. He was on the Class A shuttle relay team that placed third in the state.

Pierce is majoring in Secondary Education with a minor in art. He is the son of Mike and April Pierce of Paden City. His parents want to give a special thank-you to his coaches Kim Huffman and Kelly Goddard for their guidance and support during his high school career.
