Curtis To Play Golf At AB

River Pilots’ standout Issac Curtis will look to further his academic and athletic career at Alderson Broaddus. Curtis, a four-year letter-winner in golf, received the All-Ohio Valley and All Times Leader Golf Team honors during his sophomore, junior and senior season, and All PVC Team his freshman year.

His accomplishments are many; he was the Ohio Valley Golf League Runner-up Medalist his junior year, as well as winning the OVGL Championship. He was First Team Eastern District his junior and senior year, and Second Team his sophomore year.

In addition, Curtis was the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference Runner-up Medalist his senior year, and during his junior and senior year he made it to the districts.

His school credentials are solid, he has been on the honor roll, and in the National Honor Society. He earned OVAC All Conference All-Academic all four years, and was the Pioneer Valley Conference Scholar Athletic Award his freshman year.

He holds a 3.83 GPA and is a Monroe Academic Achiever. Curtis was also the HOBY Ambassador Sophomore of the Year and Student of the Month his senior year.

Curtis is also a three year letter-winner in basketball, and was All Times Leader and First Team OVAC in Class-AA, and he also was Honorable Mention Division III Eastern District during his senior year. And he was also was Second Team District 12 Coaches Association. He broke River High School record with 12 threes in a game, and tied the school record with 85 made in a season.

He also has lettered in baseball all four years and made the First Team EOBL during his junior season.
