By Staff | Oct 19, 2016

The Hornets Danny Stewart racked up 190 all-purpose yards , scored twice, including an exciting 74-yard, but it wasn’t quite enough to help Hundred get by Hancock, Maryland 59-14 Oct. 14 in Hancock territory.

The Hornets got on the board early as Stewart caught a 33-yard pass from Austin Stiles, and capped off their 55-yard drive with an electrifying 18-yard end-around for a 6-0 Hundred advantage.

However, Hancock would tack on 39 unanswered points to grab a 39-6 lead at the break, and add 20 second half points, before Stewart ran back Hancock’s last kick-off 74-yards to pay-dirt. Bill Mace ran in the two-point conversion for the final points of the game.

Stewart paced the Hornets with 190 total yards, including a 74 kick-off touchdown and an 18-yard TD scamper, while Stiles completed five passes for 105 yards. Tyler Norris also added a 15-yard pass completion, while Mace and Stiles both added positive yardage.
