Fulks Wins First Place In Bass Championship
Former West Virginia native, Ryan Fulks, was boat captain for his son during the West Virginia Bass Nation High School Championship at Stonewall Jackson Lake on May 2, 2015. His son, Nick Fulks, competed there with a teammate from their local high school. After catching the five bass limit, Nick and his teammate weighed in 13.92 lbs, winning first place for the West Virginia state title.
Representing West Virginia, the boys then competed at the Costa Bassmaster High School National Championship July 22nd through the 25th on Kentucky Lake in Tennessee where they placed 61st out of 136 teams across the nation, with a two day weight of 10-2.
Nick Fulks is the son of Ryan and Jodi Fulks of Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. He is the grandson of Butch and Cindy Fulks of Sistersville, Jim and Carol Ann Archer of New Martinsville, James and Roberta Petro of Washington, PA, and great-grandson of Larry and Orvella Neff of Middlebourne.
