Clay-Battelle defeated the Valley Lumberjacks football team 45-22 Oct. 8 at Blacksville. As a team, Valley carried the ball 57 times and picked up 203 yards.

Trey Streets gained 32 yards on 23 carries, while Peyton Palmer used 16 totes to gain 108 yards, two touchdowns, and an extra point. Kale Lloyd claimed 23 yards on six carries for the ‘Jacks, while Matthew Throckmorton rushed for 40 yards on two carries. In the air, Triston Kocher was 4-9 on picking up 59 yards and a strike for Valley.
