The Ohio Valley’s longest running singles event begins its 34th season Saturday, Sept. 17 at 5 p.m at Bruce Lanes Bowling Alley in New Martinsville.

Justin Paliswat will attempt to defend his matchplay title, a feat that has only been accomplished once, by Dud Snider, 1988-89-89-90.

Once again, Miller Lite, Captital Beverage and Buddy Light Accounting will sponsor the event, with the Grand Finale Champion earning $1,000. Thanks to the tournament’s 35 weekly sponsors each week, first place is a guaranteed $75 with a $15 entry fee.
