Benson Wins Triathlon
Faith in Action Caregivers held its 10th annual triathlon and duathlon on July 9 at Wheeling Park, with local Magnolia High School graduate Cameron Benson claiming first place in record time for his very first triathlon.
The triathlon began with a 400 meter swim in the pool at Wheeling Park, with the second leg a 25K bike course. The race concluded with a 5K run on paved trails and roads in the park, with Benson clocking in with a record time of 1:13.06.
