The Valley Lumberjacks were outscored in every period but one in dropping a 59-45 verdict to Weirton Madonna Feb. 3 in Weirton.

Ron “Mercury” Morris paced the Lumberjacks with 14 points, including a pair of baskets from beyond the arc, while Alex “Hondo” Henderson and Clay Ueltschy evenly divided 24 tallies for Valley.

Other ‘Jacks denting the scoreboard include Garrett Ueltschy with three points, while Jeremiah Burch and Dustin Bickerstaff each netted two points.
