Eagle Netters Lose Four-Setter To Park

The Blue Eagles girls’ volleyball team lost a four-set match to Wheeling Park, 19-25, 25-21, 19-25, and 21-25 in the Palace on the Hill, Oct. 17.

Lacy Jackson led the Lady Eagles with a game-high 14 kills, while scoring 15 points, including five service aces. Abby Harlan had one of her best matches of the season. She drilled 17 spikes and scored 17 points, including three service aces, while teammate Kelsi Heasley netted 12 points and had 10 spikes.

Other Blue Eagles stepping up include, Alexa Jo Hanna with 18 spikes, and scored eight points, including two service aces. Padyn Ludewig tallied 16 points, including two aces, while Annie Potts and Marissa Bosley each added seven points and one service ace.

Bosley also added 10 spikes, while newly crowned MHS Queen Lindsay Cain, had nine kills.

The girls will finish their regular season on the road against Brooke Oct. 22 , before finishing the season against Paden City and Parkersburg Catholic, Oct. 27. at the HammerDome at 6 p.m.
