Pictured is River running back Austin McConn getting some tough yards in a recent game. The Pilots were shutout, 34-0 to the upstart Bridgeport Bulldogs’ in Bridgeport, Saturday evening.

Dylan Potts led the Pilots with 102 yards passing and had two intercepted, with Tyler Jeffers catching four passes for 51 yards. McConn hauled in two passes for 25 yards and garnished 12 yards on the ground, while Cody Caretti added 20 yards receiving and Devann Potts six.

The Pilots will look to get their first win of the season Saturday at Shenandoah against the Zeps with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
