By Staff | Oct 7, 2009

The River Pilots dropped a 20-14 Homecoming overtime decision Oct. 2 to Zanesville Bishop Rosecrans on Flannery Field.

However, late in the opening period, Rosecrans knotted the game at seven, but, neither team could dent the scoreboard in the next two quarters. The Pilots took the lead on a 13-yard pass play from Dylan Potts to Cody Caretti. Wright added the PAT and the Pilots held the lead once more.

However, not to be outdone, Rosecrans forced the game into overtime and won it on another TD after holding the Pilots.
