Ex NFL Player To Visit Area

Lee Rouson, former New York Giants and Cleveland Browns football star, will visit the area Oct. 8 to talk to students at New Martinsville and Paden City schools.

Rouson will talk about life issues pertinent to young lives today such as becoming or remaining free from drug, alcohol and chemical dependence; dropping out of school; dealing with peer pressure; and adopting positive life values.

Rouson will identify with students by identifying a few of his own life experiences and will have a clear presentation on alcohol and drug abuse, sharing current facts and stories.

The former NFL great also will speak to the importance of academics, encouraging students to do their best. He will how he has found the the power of daily living and the ability to overcome life’s pressures and problems through his personal faith.

All students are encouraged to attend the free events at time and places to be announced later.
