The River Pilots Golf Team defeated Magnolia, Bellaire and Paden City in high school golf action Wednesday, Sept. 2 at Riverside Golf Course in Sardis.

The Pilots Samantha Knowlton was the medal winner with the lowest score of 38 to lead all the golfers.

Jesse Merckle followed with a 40, while Zack Wax and Matthew Marconi contributed a 41 and 47, respectively, for the River Pilots.

Justin Yost led all Blue Eagle scorers with a 40, while Garrett Emch added a 41 and Landon Herrick a 43. Noah Taylor finished with a solid 47.

The Paden City squad was led by Ethan Drain with a 49, while Braxton Herrick added a 52. Zach Yost contributed a 56, while Doug Shephard scored a 61.
