Diamond Queens Fastpitch Softball will present a pitching workshop beginning Sept. 12 in New Martinsville for both girls and boys of any age. Sessions will cover basic fundamentals through advanced techniques of softball pitching.

Each session will be about one hour per person and pitchers must bring their own catchers.

The workshop is designed for aspiring pitchers who want to get started with proper mechanics and for athletes who want to maximize their abilities.

Instructor will be Mike Fahey, a noted Ohio Valley pitcher with more than 35 years’ tournament experience in the U. S. and Canada. Well-known and respected by his peers, he also has worked with pitchers at the collegiate level.
