New Martinsville Middle School will hold a Wrestling Camp from June 22-26. Camp will be lead by Daran Hayes, three-time West Virginia State place winner and assistant wrestling coach at North Marion High School.

Helping will be Mason Bailey from East Fairmont High School, two-time West Virginia State Champion, outstanding West Virginia wrestler for 2008-2009 season, Dutton Award winner, ranked top 10 in U.S. and Dapper Dan team member. Bailey will be on the United States Naval Academy Wrestling Team.

The camp will consist of instruction and high intensity drilling from all positions, training methods taught, Ironman competition and other games. In addition, camp t-shirts and prizes will be awarded and a Camper of the Week will be named.

Camp will be Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to noon for grades six and below; grades seven through high school will be from 1-4 p.m. Cost is $90 at the door or $80 if registration is received 10 days prior to camp date. Magnolia High School and New Martinsville School wrestlers, including youth, are half-price.
