Lady Eagles Drop OVAC Semi-Final;

The Magnolia Blue Eagle Girls Softball team fell to Meadowbrook 4-0 May 2 at I-470 Complex in Wheeling in the semi final OVAC Class AAA game.
The Meadowbrook pitcher Kinsi Tellep, struck out 21 of 22 Eagle batters she faced, giving up one walk. Blue Eagle hurler Tori Tharp was sharp as well, struck out nine, and walked one.

The Magnolia Blue Eagles beat Lady Jets 13-3, in a make up game April 29 at Union Local.
After falling behind 2-0 heading into the third inning, the Eagles scored five runs in the third and fourth frames to put the game out of reach.
Alexajo Hanna pitched the first three innings and struck out five in gaining the nod from the mound, while Tori Tharp pitched the final two innings, gained the save, struck out four.
Hanna helped herself out at the plate with a pair of singles, while driving in a run. Teammate Marrissa Bosley smacked two doubles and brought home two runs, while Dallas Mullett added two singles, drilled a double, and plated two Eagle base runners.
