River Pilot track strongman D. J. Duke broke the Ohio State – and the Bellaire Relay – shot put record at the Bellaire Relays at Nelson Field in Bellaire April 25 with a toss of 67’5.”

The Ashland University signee and reigning Ohio Division III state shot put champion landed well into the grass and received a rousing, standing ovation for his performance.

Besides winning the shot, Duke heaved the discus 147’8: to finish second to finish the relay with a tie for the most points scored in the meet.
