The Magnolia Ladies defeated visiting Valley on Thursday evening October 16, in straight sets on Senior Night. The Eagles recognized their three seniors Sidney Knight, Jessa Anderson, and Jill Householder. All three were instrumental in the win for the Lady Eagles.

The Eagles jumped out to a 12-4 lead and extended it to 18-8 before Valley scored 6 straight points to cut the lead to 18-14 before the Eagles would get a thunderous spike by Senior Sidney Knight and another for the game winner by Senior Jessa Anderson to take set one 25-18.

In set two the Jills would lead 11-8 before the Eagles caught fire by spikes from Karli Warder and Anderson to jump ahead 19-14. Anderson would again get a hammer kill to finish set two with a 25-17 win.

Valley would score 8 straight points after trailing 11-4 to take a lead of 14-11. The Jills would lead 24-22 before Anderson who played above the net all evening added a kill to tie the set at 24-24 before two more straight kills to end the set and win the match 26-24.

The Eagles improved to (11-13) on the season.

The Jills fell to (2-16) on the season.
