Paden City Falls to Bridgeport
The Bridgeport Bulldogs left little doubt on Wednesday afternoon as they rolled past the Paden City Wildcats with a lopsided 17-2 victory.
Paden City struggled to find any rhythm offensively, failing to reach first base against a dominant Bridgeport pitching staff. The Bulldogs kept the Wildcats hitless and maintained control throughout the contest.
On the mound, Kayden Myers took the loss for the Wildcats, surrendering 11 hits over his outing as Bridgeport’s bats stayed hot from the first pitch to the final out.
Jack Nelson accounted for Paden City’s only offensive spark, scoring both of the Wildcats’ runs in the losing effort.
