On Monday April 14, 2025 the Paden City Lady Wildcats faced a tough matchup as they hosted Beallsville and fell in a 21-2 defeat.

Costly errors and a quiet night at the plate plagued the Lady Wildcats throughout the game. Paden City committed seven errors in the field and managed just three hits against a strong Beallsville defense.

Offensively, Layknn Billiter, Hopelynn Ewing, and Riley Blake each picked up a hit, accounting for the team’s limited success at the plate.

On the mound, Blake took the loss for the Lady Wildcats, issuing 10 walks and allowing 15 earned runs as Beallsville capitalized on nearly every opportunity.

Despite the setback, the Lady Wildcats will look to regroup when they travel to Union Local on Wednesday, April 16.
