Lady Wildcats fall to Waterford Wildcats

The Paden City Lady Wildcats were back on their home field this past Saturday against a strong Waterford Wildcats squad. The hometown team couldn’t find their rhythm, falling 33-11 in a mercy-rule shortened game.
Paden City’s offense struggled to get going as Waterford jumped out to a commanding 15-run lead in just the first two innings. The visiting Wildcats capitalized on early mistakes and never looked back, keeping the bats of Paden City quiet throughout the contest.
Despite the loss, Paden City hopes to regroup and find their stride as the season progresses.
